The Giltar hotel is ideally located on the seafront in Tenby. Boasting spectacular views of over South Beach and Caldey Island, it’s the perfect setting for an afternoon tea with friends or family.

They serve delicious Welsh afternoon teas with the usual suspects: finger sandwiches, fresh scones with jam and cream, cakes and tea, and a traditional Bara Brith (a traditional Welsh tea bread flavoured with tea, dried fruits and spices).

Their Welsh afternoon tea is £17.50 per person, or you can choose to include prosecco for £23.00 per person. They can cater for vegans, and vegetarians and provide gluten-free options for an additional £2.00.

Afternoon tea is served daily between 2-4pm. Please note you will need to book at least 24 hours in advance.

Penally Abbey Hotel

The Penally Abbey Hotel is a 4 star, 12 bedroomed hotel set in acres of woodland and ideally located close to the sea and only a 10 minute walk from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Penally Abbey serve a delightful afternoon tea daily between 1:30-3:30pm in their stunning dining room or in front of the cosy roaring fires. For large group bookings, you will be seated in their private dining space “The Courtyard” (there is an extra charge for use of this space).

Their afternoon tea consists of scones with fresh cream and jam, a selection of sandwiches and cakes and tea and coffee. The cost per person is £28.00.

Whilst they can cater for vegetarians and provide gluten free options, unfortunately they can’t cater for dairy free or vegan diets.

If you want something a little lighter, their cream tea is priced at £10.00 per person and includes a scone with jam and cream and tea or coffee.

Heywood Spa Hotel Tenby

Heywood Spa is a 4-star luxury hotel located in the heart of Tenby, only a mile away from the harbour. They serve a delicious afternoon tea between 1:30-4:30pm 7 days a week in their Marigold restaurant.

Their full afternoon tea is priced at £22.50 per person and includes finger sandwiches, fresh scones with clotted cream and jam and tea or coffee.

You can upgrade to include a glass of prosecco for an additional £5 per person.

If you don’t fancy sandwiches, their cream tea which includes a scone with jam and cream, a selection of cakes and tea/coffee is only £13.50 per person.
